1.Kendy and a2CIRCLE share a very similar belief in the motive behind designs, aiming to bring peace and harmony through their art & craft. Kendy met a2CIRCLE through a fashion platform while picking some accessories for her attendance at a music award show. She was intrigued by their designs and thought maybe there will be room for collaboration, so she made the initiative to connect with Ann and Angela, the founders of the brand, to discuss and share her ideas of making a collection based on Chinese Calligraphy.
2.Kendy started practising Chinese Calligraphy in 2018 and during the downtime of Covid. The art form brought peace and calm to her during the most frustrated and bleak times during that period, transforming her views of life and views of music and artistry. She believes in the power of Chinese characters, which can bring good vibes and energy to people, and can also be the best human companion.
3.Kendy once saw her actor idol Cillian Murphy wearing a brooch design designed by a local Hong Kong designer, it’s a very sophisticated and its uniqueness has inspired to think out of the box to transform her own design to a wearable jewellery piece. Sharing this idea with a2CIRCLE is somehow fate driven and we hope this collection is our blessing to the present turbulent world.
